The Office & Utter Nonsense

I took pictures of the flowers! When it first came out of the box (which I did not throw out yet. haha I am so messy!), it was wilted and looked somewhat like a weeping willow (i love weeping willows by the way!). It looks more lively after I put it into water and gave it plant food. I was laughing when I read the that the little packets were little plant food packets! I didn't know plants needed little packets of food. Is that why my other plant never grew? =(

On other topics, I finally spilled all the pent up frustration and silence to my boyfriend. Part of another reason I created this blog was to stay anonymous, so I can speak on things and not be judged. It was hard being honest and writing the heart when my boyfriend reads into every word and reads my xanga everyday. I obviously wanted him to read my xanga to understand me better, but at the same time give me some breathing space please! But after speaking to him (mind you, an hour after our anniversary ended) about it, I felt a lot better about it. I felt relieved. It's true what they say about telling the truth will set you free.

I am minimally in tuned with politics (better now than I was before) and financial issues in the US. I am afraid that since Washington Mutual was bought by JP Morgan Chase that we're going into some kind of depression. If Bush was said to speak to both Obama and McCain about a financial plan and McCain is willing to step out, then our situation must be dire.

Our future as a country looks pretty bleak.
