I'm excited about this blogging site. I used to just write on xanga, but I felt after reading this article in Children's Writer about how a real blog could get you published, I thought, "hey why not?" Oh! Also, I found my British Literature professor's website (he is hilarious! Luckily I have class with him in half an hour!) and I was amazed by his brilliance. If you like crossword puzzles and you want some help or answers, check out his site: rexparker. It sounds just like him and he's become kind of known actually for it. I didn't even realize that the site is from this blogger site. Pretty impressive.
I'm hoping to use this blog as a form of outlet of creative juices and just to exercise some writing styles. (I'm trying to keep this anonymous as much as I can! I'm not used to people I know reading my work, so anonymity would work for now)
Today is my 3rd month anniversary with my boyfriend and he sent me flowers! After I set them up in the vase, I'll put up some pictures. =] Considering I always guess the surprises he has in store for me and that I'm 3 hours away from home, this was particularly thoughtful.
On another note, I can't believe moonromance is up and going again. It brings back many memories. I miss when I was young. I miss the 90's! I think my next article (I finally joined the widely-read campus newspaper. Yeah Opinion section!) will probably be about the 90's or about majors.
